The fork lift truck is fitted with a pair of arms (8) hinged at the top (9) of the frame (7). The ends of the arms carry the forks (10). The forks are connected to the arms at the end of a pivotally mounted bracket (18) at the distal end of the outer arm. The arms are raised by an hydraulic cylinder (13) acting on the bracket (11). The forks are maintained horizontally by second hydraulic cylinder (15) fixed to the arms at one end. The cylinders are interlocked hydraulically to ensure comparative movement.
