PURPOSE:To combine the error information, by providing a tracer device which stores the status of the logical device CPU in due order, and a service device which controls the diagnosis of CPU, and reading and controlling the tracer device in accordance with the mode. CONSTITUTION:The internal status of CPU30 which is a diagnosed device is stored in the tracer device 10 in due order, and the diagnostic processing of CPU30 is executed by the service device 20 through the tracer device 10. As for the tracer memory (TRM) 11 of the unit 10, a data from the memory line group 111 is stored in the address of the line 113, storage is made in the lap-around form, and when a CPU error, etc. occur, writing to TRM 11 is stopped and its contents are displayed. CPU which controls reading of TRM 11 is controlled by the mode F.F.16 showing which unit of the service unit 20 is able to do it, and when F.F.16 is made on, the tracer device 10 can be used from the service device 20, and when F.F. 16 is made off, CPU 30 is able to use the tracer device. |
