PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit by automatically changing over connections between magnetic heads and a demodulating circuit and by leading data out of the demodulating circuit. CONSTITUTION:As magnetic card 1 is run along reference surface 3a, magnetic recording signals on magnetic recording belt 1a are read out and analog counter 11 is held at a high potential level. Then, magnetic card 1 is detected and magnetic recording medium 6 is held at a high level. Consequently, magnetic head 4 is connected to demodulating circuit 10. Next, as magnetic bankbook 2 is run along reference surface 3a, magnetic head 4 never reads magnetic recording signals on magnetic recording belt 2a, so that counter 11 will stay at a low potential level. Then, magnetic bankbook 2 is detected to hold magnetic recording medium detecting method 6 at the high level, and consequently magnetic head 5 is connected to demodulating circuit 10 via switch method 7'. Thus, the circuit can be simplified with the said constitution. |
