The conveyor installation for profiled pieces of material is esp. for roller units for roller bearings. The installation includes prism shaped run in and run out grooves, and two axially adjustable conveyor plates having profiled inclines at their interior circumference and fitted with an endless conveyor chain or conveyor band equipped with a drive wheel and a reversing wheel. An adjustable pressure spring and adjusting screw are provided together with a tensioning lever and tensioning roll to apply pressure to the conveyor chain.
