<p>The compressible ribbed foam sealing strip is used under the butt jointed edges of roof cladding panels and is sandwiched beneath the adjoining panel edge zones and a support member below. A lining is provided on at least one of its vertical edges, serving to deter destructive vermin. The lining is of plain or perforated metal, or of plain or fibre-reinforced plastics. The lining has reduced elasticity by comparison with the foam, and is boneded to the foam. The strip may be provided in standard lengths connected by joints of the dovetail tongue and groove type.</p> |
