An in-line regulator for a pressurized fluid comprises a regulator sleeve (4) disposed in a tabular, fluid-carrying line or in a tubular housing to be inserted into the line (2). The sleeve (4) defines with the interior surface of the line (2) or housing an annular chamber (10) which communicates with the outside via an orifice (12) in the wall of the line (2) or housing. A tubular central portion (8) of a sleeve (4) is elastically deformable and is expanded towards the orifice (12) due to pressure differential consequent on flow of fluid into the chamber (10) through at least one constant-cross-section opening (14, 14 min , 14 sec ). The expanding portion (8) partly blocks the orifice (12) to regulate flow therethrough. |
