<p>Feed table forwards a sheet of bulk product towards a drive which carries it to a fixed lower blade and one or more moving blades. The feed and drive advance in an appropriate movement for the length of cut. Above the fixed blade is a cooling ramp which projects a cold fluid on the cutting zone. Preferably the liquid is anti-static, or is a textile oil. The moving blades may be on a rotating shaft or a single blade reciprocates to cut the sheet into chips.</p> |
