PROCESS FOR MN-AL-C ALLOYS MAGNET

摘要

An anisotropic permanent magnet of an Mn-Al-C alloy containing 68.0 % to 73.0 % by weight of manganese, (1/10 Mn-6.6) % to (1/3 Mn-22.2) % by weight of carbon, and the remainder aluminum are rendered to anisotropic by deforming it plastically at a temperature of 530 - 830≦̸C. The permanent magnet has excellent mechanical characteristics and magnetic properties that the (BH) max is above 6.0 x 106 G.Oe up to about 9.2 x 106 G.Oe in its bulk state.
