PURPOSE:To prevent the chargeable powder ink dropped on electrodes from accumulating at the both ends of the farthest position of the moving width of a brush by a method wherein the rotating direction of the brush is reversed at a position before the maximum moving width ends in an electrostatic printing device which makes a printing by a brush which rotates and moves on a screen. CONSTITUTION:In an electrostatic printing device in which charged powder ink is rubbed into net holes of a screen 1st electrode 1 by a brush 2 rotating and moving on the screen 1st electrode 1, a rub-in brush 2 for printing located first at a position C'B' goes forth up to a position AB, rotating in the direction shown by an arrow (a) opposite to a moving direction of the brush 2 shown by an arrow (x) in order to raise a printing effect. At this position the brush 2 reverses its rotating direction, rotates in an arrow (b) direction, goes over a remaining ink 4 and stops at a position BC. Then, the brush goes forth in an arrow (y) direction, changes its rotating direction to an arrow (a) direction at a position A'B', goes over the remaining ink 4 and stops at a positin B'C'. |
