DERIVATIVES OF R,S-(2-(2-HYDROXYETHYLAMINO)-1- PHENYL)-ETHYLAMINE, AND A PROCESS OF OBTAINING THEM

New R,S-2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-1-phenyl! ethylamine derivatives of the general formula: wherein R represents hydrogen or an allyl, propargyl or benzyl radical are obtained by reacting R,S-2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-1-phenyl!-ethylamine of the formula: with carbon disulphide to form R,S-N-2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-1-phenyl!-ethylamide of dithiocarbonic acid, of the formula: which optionally is further reacted with an allyl, propargyl or benzyl halide to yield the corresponding oster-amide. The new derivatives of the invention are valuable intermediates in the synthesis of tetramisole.
