PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive lithographic plate which permits formation of sharp sensitive images by providing a hydrophilic colloid layer dispersed with a water-insoluble oily (waxy) compound and a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a hydrophilic substrate. CONSTITUTION:A nonsilver sensitive layer which can form hydrophilic images such as composition from O-quinone diazide compound, a hydrophilic colloid layer dispersed with an oily or waxy compound (for example, diethylene glycol-adipic acid polyester of about 0.01-10mu grain sizes) and a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer are provided to a substrate having been subjected to hydrophiling treatment, whereby the photosensitive lithographic printing plate is obtained. It is equally well to use the above-mentioned oily or waxy compound by compounding the same at about 0.01-2pts.wt. proportions into a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer. |
