<p>PURPOSE:To process data based on a thermal head array by the use of a simple circuit by a method wherein a shift register to control heating of each head of a thermal head array composed of a plurality of thermal heads and a plurality of counters connected with said shift register. CONSTITUTION:A latch circuit 3, a shift register 4 are provided in order to control heating of each thermal head 1001 etc. of a thermal head array 1 in which a plurality of thermal heads 1001 etc. are arrayed and there are equipped N counters 61, 62, 63, 64, etc. which have the same digital frequency as the bit length of this shift register 4 and can be preset. In additin, counter connecting circuits etc. are equipped which are connected so that the same clock pulses can be inputted in parallel to all series input terminals of N counters and to clock terminals of the shift register 4. Thus, data processes can be carried out based on the thermal head array by the use of simple circuit.</p> |
