PURPOSE:To enable to maintain a high image quality, to express a gradation of the image and to record a halftone image by a method wherein a plurality of injection nozzles are made different in diameters thereof and are directed to a same point. CONSTITUTION:Constructions of all of droplet injecting units 2 are coincided, but diameters of injection nozzles are made different. An ink particle 9 is injected from a head 3 with a constant interval and recording signals are given to a recording signal terminal 7 in accordance with an image to be recorded, while either one of the injecting unit 2 is selected by a control circuit in accordance with a gradation of the image. The ink particle 9 charged by a charging electrode 8 is deflected in its flying direction by a deflecting electrode 11 and forms a dot image on a directed point on a specified recorded body 1. A density of the dot images is constant but a size of the ink particle 9 is different, therefore, a size of the dot image is varied and the gradation of the picture is reproduced with a high resolving power. |
