PURPOSE:To perform a digital control of a thyristor using a simple constitution by a method wherein an ''on'' position is given to the thyristor by reading out a gate control digital signal in response to the state where the relations between a phase control angle signal and a counter output have reached the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The difference alpha-B, namely, a phase control angle signal alpha supplied by a phase control angle signal generator circuit 4 and a counter output B from a counter circuit 5, is found by an arithmetic circuit 6. When this value becomes negative, the value in which the constant of 192 is added to the above, namely, alpha-B+192 is found and this is used as a deformation phase control angle information signal, and when alpha-B signal turned to the value which is obtained by equally dividing the maximum counter value of 191 of an output B by the number of alloted thyristor control sections (6, for example), a read-out control signal is supplied to a memory section 9 corresponding to said value. The arrangement sequence of data bits in the memory section 9 coincides with the order of the thyristors T1-T6 and their output is added to alpha gates G1-G6 through an intermediate of an OR circuit 10 and a gate driving circuit 11. Therefore, a digital control can be performed on a thyristor. |
