PURPOSE:To enable detection of the normal conductive transfer exactly even if a plurality of coils are arranged in proximity by detecting the normal conductive transfer of the coil groups having respective coil power supplies and a superconductive coil with a current detector and a voltage detector connected to the respective coils. CONSTITUTION:A toroidal nuclear fusion apparatus having four superconductive coils is constructed as below so as to detect the transfer of the superconductive state to the normal conductive state of the coils. That is, coil current detectors 11-1-11-4 are connected to a nuclear fusion equipment having superconductive coils 2-1-2-4 corresponding to the coil power supplies 1-1-1-4 between the respective power supplies and the coils. Further, coil voltage detectors 12-1-12-4 are connected in parallel with the respective coils, and the voltages and the currents presented on the voltage and current detectors are compared with the references. When the device is thus constructed and any coil transfers to the normal conduction, any of discharging resistors 9-1-9-4 and breakers 8-1-8-4 is operated, and a corresponding coil is disconnected therefrom. |
