PURPOSE:To enable an easy application of a sample to an emitter by equipping an emitter-exchanging machine, which serves for exchanging the emitter installed in a vacuum case, with a sample-applying machine used for applying the sample to the emitter. CONSTITUTION:A fine-adjustment bed 18 which serves for applying a sample to an emitter 2, a microcylinder 13 and a microscope 14 are mounted on the end surface of a probe-insertion bed 10, and these three are demountable. Consequectly, a sample in the microcylinder 13 can be applied into a microneedle 3 without deconnecting the emitter from a probe 1, because the sample-applying machine is set above the probe-insertion bed 10. |
