<p>PURPOSE:To enable to discriminate the sound insulation characteristic easily by installing a slider provided with the reference scale and the discrimination scale on a transparent plate in which the sound frequencies are marked on the horizontal axis and sound pressure level is marked on the vertical axis. CONSTITUTION:Together with the sound frequencies marked on the horizontal axis X and the sound pressure level marked on the vertical axis Y of transparent plate 1, the discrimination graphs L-40-L-65 are marked and further, guide groove 2 is installed parallel to the vertical axis Y at the frequency band area. Slider 3 made of a transparent material is placed in guide groove 2. On slider 3, reference scale D and discrimination scale D-30-D-55 are marked so as to be read from the above to the below. This transparent plate 1 is placed on the recording paper of the floor impact sound level while frequency and sound level are set, and the position where the sound pressure level is located on any of the discrimination praphs L-40-L-65 is read out to decide the characteristic.</p> |
