<p>PURPOSE:To enable exhaust gas to be safely and stably deodorized by supplying the Cl2, HCl, NaOH or NaOCl obtained directly from an adjacent electrolyzing unit or further through chemical changing as a deodorant to a deodorizing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas A is sent into a primary deodorizing tower 1, where it is removed of acidic odorous components by an aqeuous NaOH or NaOCl soln. sprayed from above, after which it is removed of alkaline odorous components by an aqueous HCl soln. Further, oxidation decomposable ordours components are removed with an aqueous Cl2 or NaOCl soln. The deodorant used is supplied directly from a salt water electrolyzing unit or further after it has been caused to make chemical changing. Namely, the brine having been controlled in a salt dissolving vessel 4 is decomposed in an electrolytic cell 5 and the thus formed Cl2 and H2 gas are made into a hydrochloric acid in a hydrochloric acid reaction pipe 10. The hydrochloric acid is then absorbed into water by an ejector 11 and is sent into a hydrochloric acid storage tank 12. The NaOH is sent into a sodium storage tank 13. In an NaOCl control vessel 14, the aqueous NaClO soln. is obtained from Cl2 and NaOH. In addition, an aqueous chlorine soln. (storage tank 12') is obtained with an ejector 11'.</p> |
