PURPOSE:To make a voice coil light-weight and improve durability against high- power mechanical vibration, by using a material, which has a powdery, fibrous, or needle-shaped ceramic as main components and is formed with heat-proof resin, as the cylindrical formed material. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical material 10 is formed from heat-proof resin with powdery, fibrous, or needle-shaped ceramic as main components, and coil 11 is wound around this cylindrical material to constitute a voice coil for audio speaker. Since powdery, fibrous, or needle-shaped ceramic is main components, cylindrical material 10 can be formed very thinly in respect to dimensions and can be made light-weight considerably. A high mechanical strength and sufficient durability against mechanical vibration in the wide range from the low frequency to the high frequency can be given to this voice coil. As a result, the speaker can be high-performznce and small-size. |
