PURPOSE:To secure a safe and high-efficiency treatment, by adding the copper compound to the waste water along with an exposure-to-air given via the gas containing oxygen to give the oxidizing decomposition to the hydrazine and then giving the sand filtering plus the water passing to the cation exchange resin or the like. CONSTITUTION:The copper compound is added as a catalyst to the waste water containing the hydrazine, and then an exposure-to-air is carried out via the gas containing oxygen such as the air or the like and under the conditions of >=pH2 in order to give an oxidizing decomposition to the hydrazine. Then such waste water is made to pass through the filter tower filled with the sand and the cation ion exchange resin or the filter tower filled with the sand or the chelate resin. In case the particles of the copper oxide or the like contained in the treated water are extremely minute, an adjustment of the pH is set to 6.5-7.5 with a coagulation filtering is given via the aluminum sulfate, the polyaluminum chloride or the anion- type high molecular coagulating agent. And then the filtered water is made to pass through the cation exchange resin or the like. And the gas containing oxygen contains preferably the oxygen of the >=21vol% in terms of the composition ratio. |
