Ski binding with swivelling sole holder - is operated by spring system with housing, counter bearings through hand opening lever

The ski binding has a sole holder which swivels out to release the ski boot held by spring tension in the closed position. The spring operates, together with a housing, through a spring cage supported by a first counter bearing and actuates the closing catch with one end only when the spring cage has been transferred through a hand opening lever. The two counter bearings (14,15) are positioned on a movable change-over counter bearing which by successive swivelling down of the hand opening lever (11) move alternatively into first and second positions in which either the first or the second counter bearing are supporting the spring cage. During the transfer of the change-over counter bearing from a second to a first position the hand opening lever (11) during downward pressure moves the spring cage (13) into the closed position.
