PURPOSE:To discriminate the loading state, by transmitting a prescribed frame displaying the autonomous program loading state of the packet exchange to the network control station or the adjacent exchange and receiving this frame, when the packet exchange is in the autonomous program loading state. CONSTITUTION:Packet exchange 2 transmits data, which is indicated by control circuit 21, from parallel-series conversion transmission circuit 28 to interstation transmission line 6 or transmission line 5 for control, and transmits a flag sequence if data to be transmitted does not exists. When autonomous program loading from secondary memory 23 to primary memory 22 is executed in exchange 2 by short break, FF26 is set, and selector 27 is switched to the fixed pattern generating circuit 24 side, and pattern data of the frame displaying the program loading state is transmitted from circuit 28 to network control station 1 through transmission line 5 for control. Station 1 detects the fixed pattern and reports the program loading state of exchange 2 to control circuit 11 and displays this state to the machine interface. |
