PURPOSE:To obtain reproduction outputs of invariably high precision by physically detecting the position of a head and by correcting a reproduced waveform on the basis of the detection output. CONSTITUTION:Optical or mechanical sensor 6 detects projecting piece 5 approaching as head carriage 4 moves and when head 3 reaches position 60 of a track, a detection output is generated. On the basis of this detection output, readout reproduced waveform correction part 7 continues its operation while head 3 is inside of the inner circumference of track 60 to correct the waveform of a signal read out by head 3 and when head 3 moves beyond track 60, the correction is released. |
