Remote adjusted large driving mirror - has three point support on snap fastening ball and socket joints

The driving mirror is fitted with three socket joints set along two orthogonal axes. The sockets are clipped over ball fittings (31,33) on a support plate (10) adjustable inside the housing. The sockets are elastic and provide a rattle free fitting. The lower socket joint is set vertical while the other two are horizontal. The mirror is clipped over the lower joint and swung into the upper joints to provide a simple fitting with no special tools required. The mirror is easily deflected from its fitting when struck.
