<p>The subphrenoscopy instrument can be inserted into the subphrenical cavity for optical diagnosis. It comprises a large fever recognising lens with head and flexible tip, the former having an eyepiece and control knob adjusting the tip. A long optical fibre cable connects the eyepiece to a small fever recognising lens. Rubber covers the tip, and also the point where the small lens fits in the head of the large one. The smaller lens has a head and a flexible tip with eyepiece and tip-adjusting button, connected to a cold light source. The tip is rubber-covered and incorporates a lamp and lens passage. The smaller lens runs in the passage of the larger one and can be inserted manually, and a tap is mounted on the optical fibre cable near the smaller lens head.</p> |
