The flushing and exhausting device for a laparoscope comprises a tube (1) with distal bell (2) inserted in the stem in front of the distal end. A mandrel slides in the distal direction in the bell, and can be plugged and locked at the distal end into a distributor head (11) for flushing fluid and suction. The bell is connected via passages (4,6,18) in the tube and in the head (4a,20) to a flushing fluid vessel (21), which can be shut off, and via a collector vessel (23) to an exhauster.
