Gyroscopically stabilised practice missile - has braking system composed of fins hinged circumferentially around body which fly out under centrifugal force

The practice missile is gyrostatically stabilised and has a braking system (4). The braking is done by fins (6) joined to the missile extending in the direction of the side surface (8) initially. When the missile is fired, these fly out. The fins have a rigid transverse section, less rigid in one area (9) bent by centrifugal force. The fins are fixed to one part (5) placed centrally. Both fixing and fins are made from a section cut in sheet and then bent. The side of the missile (8) has openings (2) into which the fins are fotted.
