The inductive coil (2) windings (1) defining a closed circulation circuit for cooling water are coupled together in pairs, each winding (1) having an identical rectangular or square cross-section. The pairs are rigidly welded together where they join one another. Pref. the coil (2) is formed from square section copper buting with a 4mm by 4mm cross-section, the wall thickness being about 0.5mm. Each winding (1) has a water input (4) and outlet (5), both of which are earthed. The coil (2) is supplied with an AC having a frequency of between 1.3 and 1.5 MHg.
