An outside shaft is in flow connection with a drainage pipe via a bell lock, which has an upright pipe opening out into a drainpipe joint socket on the shaft. A direct flow connection can be established between the shaft interior and the pipe socket, esp. in a kitchen floor. The upright pipe (4) is firmly connected to the outside shaft (2), or drainpipe joint socket (5). At its bottom end it has a sealable runoff aperture (8), or more than one. A slide socket may be axially displaceable on the upright pipe, to cover an aperture by means of a sealing sleeve, when closed. Construction is simple and economical, and sealing is simple and effective.
