This invention concerns a device on a staircase consisting of two strings and a number of angular steps, where each angular step consists of a tread next to an under underlying riser. Such staircases in a stairwell are constructed of reinforced concrete. The problem arises via structure-borne sound in buildings that is propagated and which is derived from traffic on the staircase and stairwell. The new device aims at preventing the distribution of sound from staircases to the body of the building when the staircase is used and the solution consists of the angular steps (2) being fastened in recesses located in the strings (1) with a pre-manufactured rubber moulding (3) surrounding the gable ends of the angular steps. This moulding is under a compressive load between the angular step and the surrounding string.<IMAGE> |
