PURPOSE:To improve wear resistance and antistatic property by providing crosslinked and cured films which are provided with a specific structure and has antistatic power at the end faces. CONSTITUTION:Many pieces of plastic multiple optical fibers 21 which are disposed with light transmittable island parts 22 having 5-200mum diameter at 100-10,000 ratio in a sea part 23 so as to be made into piling arrangement and has approximately rectangular outside circumferential shapes are disposed to a line shape arranged with the end faces 1 on one sides thereof in one or plural arrays; in addition, the end faces 2 on the other side are converged to a rectangular or circular shape. The cured films 4, 5 of the crosslinkable resin material having the antistatic power are provided on the end faces 1, 2 of such optical fiber array head. The wear resistance and antistatic property of the end faces are thereby improved and the deterioration in the light transmission performance in long-term use is obviated. |
