<p>The carrying handle consists of two split tubes (2,3). The outer tube contains the inner tube and both tubes can mutually rotate about the long axes to allow the splits to coincide. One tube has a locking device containing a locking member (10) with a grip and acted on by a spring in the open position. The locking member engages in a recess in the other tube when the handle (1) is closed. The locking device is on the inner tube (2) and the locking member engages a through-hole in the outer tube. The hole is formed by the split (11,13). The locking device has a flap (9) running parallel to the split and carrying the locking member at the free end. The handle is also suitable for protection of electrical cables or hoses or for gathering them together.</p> |
