<p>A bottom-sheet separator-feeder for separating and forwarding sheets seriatim, particularly in an automatic document handler, comprises a vacuum sheet feeder (37,41) in conjunction with an air knife (12), a single blower (55) with a cyclically operated air valve (57) being utilised to provide sub-atmospheric air for the separator (37,41) and pressurised air for the air knife (12) to provide enhanced feeder performance and automatically compensate for variable paper weights. </p> |
