摘要 PURPOSE:To perform continuous measurement of a blood component concerned in coenzyme dependability and oxygen reaction exactly and swiftly, by using a sensor having a coenzyme fixed layer. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 10 which accomodates a measuring electrode 17 and a coenzyme fixed layer 18 provided on its lower surface, in the measuring vessel 16 is used. The extracted blood which has been diluted by the first buffer solution containing an anticoagulant is sucked into the mixed solution tank 9 by the multichannel pump 8, and also it is further diluted by pouring the second buffer solution containing an electron carrier from the tank 3. Subsequently, the said solution to be inspected is made to flow into the sensor 10, hydrogen is removed by making it contact with the coenzyme fixed layer 18, and at the same time the coenzyme of oxidation type is changed to that of reduction type. After that, the coenzyme of reduction type is returned to that of oxidation type by the electron carrier, at the same time the generated reduction type electron carrier is oxidized electrochemically by the working electrode 22 and the contrast electrode 23, and the blood component is measured by detecting the voltage required for oxidation by the reading device 19.
