PURPOSE:To improve a reproduction screen in still reproduction by changing over a phase between fields of an artificial vertical synchronizing signal according to a signal that corresponds to a tape run speed in recording. CONSTITUTION:Signals reproduced by rotary magnetic heads 1 and 2 are passed through mixing circuits 5 and 7 to obtain reproduced video signals. Output signals of heads 8 and 9 detecting rotary phases of magnetic heads 1 and 2 are applied to mixing circuit 7 by way of FF10, and monostable multivibrators 12, 16 and 15 to add an artificial vertical synchronizing signal to the reproduced video signal. On the other hand, the output of holding circuit 22 obtained corresponding to a tape run speed in recording changes over the delay extent of monostable multivibrator 16 to change over the phase between artificial vertical synchronizing signal fields, so that the waving of the reproduction screen in still reproduction will be prevented. |
