<p>Recuperative heat exhanger for hot gases. Applications is to oil/or gas-fired hot water or steam boilers with a high load of surface heating. Inserts in the gas ducts form annular channels and have smooth outer surfaces so that the axial flow direction of the gases is maintained. The inserts are of a material of good thermal conductivity. Pref., the insert has a jacket, filled with Na metal, at the entry end, and has axial ribs.</p> |
