PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of utilization of a radio circuit by holding a radio circuit used for a current call even after the end of the call when incoming arrives at a mobile subscriber who is busy and by using it for the incoming arriving during the call. CONSTITUTION:When incoming arrives at mobile subscriber 1 who is busy from telephone set 5, connection controller 6 finds that it is busy and controls switching network 3 to connect incoming guide talkie unit 7 to the channel in switching network 3 that telephone set 2 and subscriber 1 use for the telephone call, thereby informing subscriber 1 of the incoming. Further, stand-by guide talkie unit 8 instructs telephone set 5 to wait because subscriber 1 is busy at that time. Then subscriber 1 also holds itself in the off-hook state. On discriminating the end of the call between subscriber 1 and telephone set 2, connection controller 6 holds the used radio circuit and then connects telephone set 5, connected to unit 8, to the held circuit. |
