PURPOSE:To obtain a tire with soft bead parts to be fitted to a rim very smoothly for the process of rim-fitting without reducing the rigidity and the strength of the bead parts according to the condition of usage. CONSTITUTION:Strings 3 made of high modulus fibre of organic or inorganic matter except metal with an elastic modulus above 10<5>kg/cm<2> are coated or soaked with matrix 2 of rubber or plastics with an elastic modulus above 50kg/cm<2>, and constructed by the process of winding into a bead member with a tensile strength above 200kg at 1% extension and a capacity coefficient of the fibre above 0.2. This bead member is used for the component of a tire. |
