PURPOSE:To eliminate the production of the purchase slip and at the same time securing a quick ordering to the distributor, by combining the optical character reader and the facsimile transmission system. CONSTITUTION:The purchase sheet on which the items necessary for ordering such as the name of goods, the quantity, the time of delivery, the name of distributor and others are written is read by the optical character reader OCR2 of the transmitter 1. The transmitter 1 converts the name of the distributor into the telephone number by the telephone number convert table 3 when the name of the distributor is read by the OCR2. Then the telephone number is dialed through the automatic dialing device 4 to set the facsimile receiver of the distributor, e.g. the receiver 5' into the reception enable state. At the same time, the data on the sheet which is read by the OCR2 is transmitted to inform the name of goods, the quantity and the conditions of delivery to the distributor. In such way, the production of the purchase slip is eliminated to secure a quick report of ordering to the distributor. |
