<p>Injectable biphasic zinc-containing insulin preparations comprising a suspension of crystalline insulin in an aqueous medium containing dissolved monodesamidoinsulin and having a pH within the range of from 6 to 8, the crystalline insulin and the dissolved monodesamidoinsulin being derived from the same species. The injectable biphasic zinc-containing insulin preparations are prepared by bringing monodesamidoinsulin into solution in an aqueous medium containing suspended crystalline insulin, the crystalline insulin and the monodesamidoinsulin being derived from the same species.</p> |
