PURPOSE:To form a conductive film of a desired pattern on the inner surface of a transparent tube without need for complicated beam control operations by applying an electrically conductive film on the entire inner surface of the transparent tube, wrapping said tube with a mask which defines openings of desived shapes, and, irradiating the thus-wrapped tube with the laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A transparent tube 26, as a camera tube, is covered on all over the inner wall with a conductive film, and is wound around the outside surface with a laser beam mask 42 which has openings of a desired pattern. The mask 42 is made of copper or like metal which has high conductivity of heat. The transparent tube 26, on which the wound mask 42 is fixed, is held in a holder 24 of a moving stand 20, and, being rotated by the rotation of a rotating shaft 26, is moved in its axial direction on the moving stand 20 by a screw 36, and, moreover, is irradiated on all over the surface of the mask 42 with the laser beam 50. Then, parts of the conductive film inside of the tube 26 which are irradiated with the laser beam through holes of the mask 42 are eliminated, and a conductive film of a desired pattern, inside electrodes, is made. |
