This invention relates to a garment with a gusset at the sleeve joint. Such garments are customarily worn by nurses. The improvement over prior garments of the same type involves the construction of the gusset. The garment, as indicated, has a gusset between the sleeve and the body section and a resiliently extensible panel is provided to extend between a back panel of the garment and the inside tuck of the gusset. The resiliently extensible panel has a contracted disposition that is designed to normally maintain the inside tuck of its gusset in a folded position but to resiliently extend under garment stress in use to permit the inside tuck of its gusset to extend from its folded position.
