The invention relates to new synergistic mixtures which contain, as active components, the antibiotic cefsulodin sodium and a second known antibiotic selected from the group comprising the beta -lactamase inhibitors, penicillins, cephalosporins or aminoglycosides, pharmaceutical preparations containing said mixtures and a process for their manufacture, and to the use of these preparations for combating infections.
