摘要 PURPOSE:To attain economization by making it possible to manage with only one photodetector, by synchronizing a wavelength selection switch with a channel switching method. CONSTITUTION:Wavelength selection switch 11 and signal switch 13 are synchronized with each other by synchronizing method 14. Switch 11, capable of tuning to three kind of light wavelengths lambda1, lambda2 and lambda3 transmitted via optical fiber transmission line 5, selects photosignals of respective wavelengths in time-division mode and each selected signal is then led to one photodetector 12 and demodulated into the original electric signal. Next, switch 13, composed of a general integrated circuit (e.g. COMS analog switch), separates the output of demodulation 12 into three outputs SIG1, SIG2 and SIG3. At this time, the photosignal of wavelength lambda1, when selected by switch 11, is synchronized with switch 13 to obtain output SIG1 and SIG2 and SIG3 are similarly obtained. Thus, only one detector is enough at the reception side and economization is attained.
