PURPOSE:To detect the position where the article is buried accurately and simply and thus improve the efficiency of the work by detecting the buried article made of synthetic resin to which a metal leaf or a metal piece is stuck or embedded by means of a metal sensor. CONSTITUTION:In case when the buried article 7 made of synthetic resin is, for instance, a switch box, metal leaves or metal pieces 10 are stuck to the opening part 8 thereof at a fixed interval corresponding to the interval of the metal sensors 1 and 2 in such a manner that they cover screw holes 9 for fitting the switch. And, after the buried article 7 is fitted on to the lateral surface of a pillar 11, a wall is constituted. By such a constitution, an indicator 5 operates only when both metal sensors 1 and 2 detect simultaneously the metal leaves or pieces in such a manner that the sensor 1 detects the metal leaf or piece 10 on the upper side, while the sensor 2 the leaf or piece 10 on the lower side. An operator is informed of the position of the buried article by the move of the pointer of a meter or the lighting of a luminous diode or a lamp 5. |
