PURPOSE:To prevent dew condensation from being generated in a peripheral edge portion by a method wherein the peripheral edge parts of upper, lower and side frames forming the cooled air blow off opening of an air conditioner are made up on inclined surfaces that crosses the flowing direction of blowing off air. CONSTITUTION:Cooled air discharged from the blower 1 of the air-conditioner flows in the direction indicated by arrows, and it is discharged from the blow off opening 5 into a room. In this case, surfaces D and E inclined in such a direction that it crosses a cooled air flowing direction is provided in the edge parts of upper 2 and lower 3 frames on the blow off opening 5. In the same manner, inclined surfaces F, G are provided in the edge parts of side frames 6, 6'. By so doing, the cooled air is contracted at the blow off opening 5, before being diffused, so that the edge part is prevented from being cooled by the turbulent flow of the cooled air, and the occurrence of dew condensation on the surface of the edge part in the circumference of the blow off opening. |
