PURPOSE:To prepare a solid wasabi, by blending pasty natural wasabi with processed powder wasabi, followed by freezing and solidifying the blend into a shape. CONSTITUTION:Horseradish is washed with water completely so that extraneous matters are removed, and it is grated by a grating tool to give fresh grated pasty horseradish containing water. The horseradish is blended with powder wasabi which is prepared with an additive, e.g., coloring matter, starch, mustard, etc., to give pasty wasabi, which is put in a desired molded container and frozen. |
