PURPOSE:To stabilize the low-speed operation of the capacitor motor, by varying the values of the current and voltages which are applied to the capacitor motor by the variation of the voltages across an auxiliary winding or a capacitor corresponding to the variation in the speed of the capacitor motor. CONSTITUTION:The capacitor motor M1, wherein the series circuit of the auxiliary winding W2 and the capacitor C1 is connected to a main winding W1 in parallel, is connected to AC power source via a variable resistor VR1 for power supply voltage drop and a switch SW1 for opening and closing the power supply. Normally closed contacts RL1b1 and RL2b2 of a relay RL1 which is connected across the auxiliary winding W2 via a speed control switch SW2, a diode D1, and variable resistors VR2 and VR3 are connected to the variable resistors VR1 and VR3 in parallel, respectively. Across the relay RL1, is connected a capacitor C2 which smoothes said voltage across the relay. |
