PURPOSE:To easily prepare a supernarrow track head, by fixing the core made of ferromagnetic material to the reinforcing plate, grinding the core side, and carrying out the ion implantation to the end part confronting the core disk. CONSTITUTION:The ferrite core 2 of ferromagnetic material is stuck to the reinforcing plate 5 made of nonmagnetic material. In this case, the height of plate 5 is made lower than the core 2, and the part of difference is made a space 7 for sticking the I core 10 equipped with the winding. Subsequently, the mask 3 is provided on the whole circumference except the part 8 confronting the medium, by use of conductive paste, etc. After the mask 3 has been provided, the part 8 is made nonmagnetic by performing the ion implantation, and the dimension corresponding to the superhigh density track is got by the part 9 which has been left only a little. Subsequently, both the ends of the rear part of the slider 1 made of nonmagnetic material are cut to the dimension of the core 2, the core 2 which has been subjected to ion implantation is stuck, and the I core 10 equipped with the winding is stuck to the step difference part 7. |
