Truck transporter for building materials - has clamps for lifting product stacks without need for pallets

The truck for transporting stacked building panels comprises a wheel-mounted inverted U-shaped framework (5) carrying (16,17) a stack of panels (20). It has a pair of clamps (17,16) operated by a linear actuator (18). The clamps are translated vertically by a second linear actuator (13). In an alternative design the clamps are replaced by forks which pass beneath the stack in appropriate spaces. The truck handles stacked prefabricated building products without the requirement to unload them onto pallets.
